Autumn Wreath Making Workshop

The Garden Studio, Saltaire
10.00am - 12.00pm
This workshop is part of our Autumn series of botanical studies workshops celebrating nature and creativity. In these sessions participants will be given time to study and learn new skills from creatives, artists, designers and horticulturalists.
Come and join us in the Homestead Garden Studio for a seasonal fika and creative making session. With gorgeous drinks and spiced buns to fuel you, we will guide you in making a beautiful seasonal ring to hang on your door. The workshop is divided into two parts; base and adding. We will talk you through how to weave and work with natural bases and then give you the time to explore, choose and play with adding in dried florals and fresh cut botanicals into your structures. When you're finished, you can hang it inside or out to add a touch of Autumn to your spaces.
The workshop is a mixed level group and is for everyone. You don’t need to bring anything with you, as all materials that are needed for the session will be provided. As this workshop is held partially outside it is recommended that you bring warm clothes. Numbers will be purposefully kept to a minimum for your comfort and wellbeing.
The session lasts 2 hours and gives you plenty of time to learn, explore and be creative.
